How have you expanded your thoughts about “What constitutes as art?”
One main way I’ve expanded my thoughts is about recognizing the art in everyday objects. For the most part, I stopped looking at things like graffiti and book covers as art. In Florence for example, there is a lot of sticker graffiti and most of it is clever and funny. I didn’t really think of it as art. Similar to graffiti, I see book covers so often and I forget the intention and effort behind them. However, they are pieces of art. A book cover is how the artist sees the characters or scenery. Graffiti is just as legitimate art as a poster
